  • Why is my band and phone not connected?
      Timex Blink Band and your Phone stay connected through Bluetooth Low Energy technology and the Timex Blink App on your Phone. There are several reasons why your Band and Phone may not be connected. 
  • Why is my Blink GO band and phone not connected?
  • Blink GO Band and your Phone stay connected through Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology with the Blink App on your Phone. There are several reasons why your Band and Phone may not be connected.

    • Out of range: Your band and phone will stay connected if they are within 15 feet of each other.
    • Bluetooth is off: If the Bluetooth on your phone is turned off or your band is off, the phone app and Blink GO will not be connected
    • App is terminated: If the Phone app is terminated manually or by the system, the band and phone will get disconnected
    • App is missing the required permissions: Revoking specific permissions from the Phone app can lead to a disconnection between your band and phone

    3. What do I do to ensure that my Phone and band stay connected?

    You can ensure that your Phone and band are seamlessly connected:

    • Bluetooth should be enabled on your phone
    For your phone and band to be connected, it is necessary that Bluetooth on your phone is enabled
    • GPS/Location services and Location permission should be enabled

    Please ensure that Location/GPS is enabled on the phone. Also, please check if       Location Permission is enabled on the phone

    Settings-->Apps-->Blink GO--->Permission-->Location

    • If your Band is connected to another device

    If your Band is connected to some other device, please disconnect the two and then pair it with the device you intend to use with the band.

    • It is important for the app to be functional in the background. At any point for uninterrupted connectivity between phone app and the band, please ensure you do not kill the app, irespective of being an Android or an iOS user

    1. When using an Android device

    It is recommended to not kill or shut the background app on the phone to ensure uninterrupted connectivity between your Phone and Blink GO

    2. When using an iOS device

    It is recommended to not kill or shut the background app on the phone to ensure uninterrupted connectivity between your Phone and Blink GOb
